Strategic planning and administration of the operations and overseeing maintenance and repairs of the fleet for compliance with the applicable national and internationally mandated rules and regulations as well as economic management of the departments. Senior Captain and type rating examiner for the Fleet Masters.
2015 – 2021
GM Fleet & Operations, NATIONAL FERRIES COMPANY. Assumed responsibilities for the management of technical, maintenance, nautical and crew departments. As well as conducted type-rating trainings for Omani and foreign masters and officer candidates for the fleet vessels. Overseen the departmental budget and drafted proposals for the requirements of the new routes, fleet, and port developments.
2011 – 2015
Fleet Manager and DPA, FRS GROUP. Assumed responsibilities for the fleet operations and technical management of the vessels, maintenance and repairs of the shore infrastructure, link spans, workshops, stores, and warehouses. Project Management for the new shipbuilding contracts and major conversions in dry docks. Managed the technical, maintenance, nautical and crew departments. Conducting type-rating training for Omani and foreign masters and officer candidates on HSCs. As well as performed ISM and ISPS audits.

Master. Worked as master on various types of High Speed Passenger and Vehicular Crafts, Double Ended Catamaran Ferries, and Landing Crafts.

Initiated and planned to develop in house maintenance team for ferry, link span and shore ramp maintenance and repairs in Oman, implemented and completed during 2013.

Implementation of new maintenance scheme for ferry maintenances and repairs, in Oman, completed in 2014.
As project manager, successful design review, construction supervision and delivery of two double ended ferries to Oman, competed in 2014.
