Measurement and Logging While Drilling (MLWD) Field Engineer, SCHLUMBERGER OILFIELD SERVICES, Prudhoe Bay and Cook Inlet, AK; Krasnoyarsk, Vankor, and Dulisma, Russia; Lafayette (Gulf of Mexico), LA; Kuwait City, Kuwait – Programmed and operated downhole drilling equipment that provided complete suite of real-time directional, geological, and petrophysical measurements throughout drilling process. Monitored and troubleshot operations and processed telemetry signals at surface. Created detailed logs and reports for clients (operators) and their respective geologists, drilling engineers, petrophysicists, etc.

Research and Development Intern, PICOMETRIX LLC, Ann Arbor, MI – Assisted with designing experiments and analyzing data to test applications of Terahertz Time Domain optoelectronic technology. Designed and machined test apparatuses. Formulated new software algorithms. Wrote code to reduce and analyze large amounts of measurement data.

2008

Intern Engineer, GENERAL MOTORS, Warren, MI – Evaluated Terahertz Time Domain technology as a means of providing in-line film build thickness measurement in assembly plant paint shops. Coordinated efforts between multiple clients to provide measurement samples and test applications throughout greater Detroit area.
